Manager - Timothy Coleman
Timothy is the manager of the Welsh Chamber Choir. He is delighted to be creating, alongside Tomos Watkins and the rest of the choir, an important new ensemble for Wales. Having produced and directed a number of plays and operas (including, with Tomos Watkins, The Coronation of Poppea, The Turn of the Screw, and Galvani’s AUTOPILOT SAVES MODEL S, all with Faded Ink Productions), and sung in many choirs (including as a Fellow with the National Youth Choir of Great Britain, as a lay clerk with the Choir of New College Oxford, and as an undergraduate with Merton College Choir), he’s excited to combine these two passions!
He is also in his final year of a Masters in Music at RWCMD, singing tenor. Recent highlights include singing chorus with British Youth Opera’s The Rakes Progress and Northern Ireland Opera’s Rigoletto, and future plans include singing Tamino (The Magic Flute) in February 2019 with Opera in a Box.
